May 30,th2007 - As a part of HRSG’s ongoing commitment to deliver you quality talent management software, we are pleased to announce the availability of i-SkillSuite Version 3.5. This upgrade is a maintenance release which incorporates client feedback for enhanced functionality.
The primary changes in this release are:
Enhanced User Interface and Menu Navigation
As a result of client feedback and a human factors analysis, a number of visual and navigational enhancements have been made to i-SkillSuite in order to increase its overall usability. The look and feel of the application has been updated throughout with the use of new icons and an improved menu system. For example, now when a selection is clicked from within the menu, the menu item will stay highlighted until another menu item is clicked.
Addition of Quick Start Guides
To compliment the user interface and navigation improvements, all end-user i-SkillSuite modules (i.e. Competency Library, Assessment, etc.) now contain a Quick Start instruction guide. The Quick Start guide may be accessed by clicking the module title within the left-hand menu.
Options for Resuming Assessments
Upon resuming a parked assessment, users will be provided a choice as to whether the Assessment should be resumed from the beginning or from the last page of input prior to parking the assessment.
Added Roles to Interview Guides
A new access level has been added to the Interview Builder module which will allow administrators to grant users view/print access only to existing baseline interview guides when required.
Attachments at Chapter Sub-section Level in Manuals
Within the Manual module, i-SkillSuite users will now be able to add attachments at the chapter sub-section level of a manual as well as continue to use the existing ability to add attachments at the manual's main level.
Improved usability within Performance Module
i-SkillSuite users now have increased control over when notification of changes or updates to performance plans are sent.. The default of this new notification function will be "off" so that users can better select when they want to send an update (i.e. upon completion of all plan updates).
When the Notify function is turned "on", users are provided with a fully editable e-mail template prior to notification being sent. This e-mail is now pre-populated with the link to the updated Performance Plan.
