Overview: This is a session for the HRMS officer or the HR manager who wants to get more out of their current HR system.

Most organizations have a HR Management System (HRMS) to track employee data. With more sophisticated tools and enterprise-wide systems we can make better use of these tools. And, by making use of the information already in your current system, you can convince senior management just how strategical HRMS can be.

We will address how, as HR professionals, we can best mine the employee information we have available to deliver customized programs and how we can distribute accountability for HR data to employees and managers themselves. By giving employees the tools to input and extract their own data and by showing managers how to call up and create their own reports, the Human Resources department can minimize their data entry time and act more as a business consultant. Networks and Intranets have expanded the possible uses for HRMS by providing "self-service" solutions.
